Departure

The bible school ends on Saturday morning. We share breakfast and one final assembly together before packing up and heading out.

School Rules

We follow the Golden Rule as laid out by Jesus and recorded in Matthew 7:12 “In everything, do to others what you would have them do to you”. We also follow the Platinum Rule: “Treat others how they wish to be treated”, which acknowledges that everyone may not wish to be treated in the same way.

In all regards, we want to make bible school a place where people feel comfortable and safe. All clothing choices should be made with respect toward others in mind. Everyone is to wear clothing appropriate for classes, meals, assemblies, or recreational activities.

We respectfully ask that sport or leisure attire be worn only during the recreation periods and that bare skin be limited to the legs and arms. Swimsuits should only be worn in the swimming area. Please, no bikinis, speedos, or otherwise abbreviated suits.

Please do not bring or consume alcohol or marijuana while at the bible school. There may be people around you who struggle with addiction or otherwise avoid these items.

If you plan to use electronic devices (mobile phones, tablets, laptop computers, etc.) while at bible school, please be sure that the sound is turned off so as not to distract other attendees.

In all things, please employ the Golden and Platinum Rules when considering what you pack.

“Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit.
Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests
but each of you to the interests of the others.”
