About

The Western Christadelphian Bible School (WCBS) is held each summer during the last week of July. Since 1968, we have spent this week of spiritual fellowship at the Menucha Conference Center – giving us the nickname “Menucha” by all those who regularly attend.

Menucha is located in Corbett, Oregon just 20 minutes east of Portland and is situated right on the edge of the Columbia River Gorge, one of the most scenic areas in the U.S. The breathtaking views, beautiful sunrises and sunsets, and aesthetic grounds create an atmosphere of serene tranquility. The word menucha is the Hebrew word for “still waters” that David uses in Psalm 23, and it takes only a brief stroll around the grounds to appreciate how well the name fits.

Come experience the natural beauty of God’s creation.

The Bible school offers a spiritually rewarding week for the entire family. Our daily schedule is organized to achieve a balance between classes and fellowship.

There are three (3) classes in the morning for adults, young adults, and children. A variety of optional activities follows, including day trips to local scenic highlights and on-site recreational activities.

The nightly evening program serves to bring all ages together in ice breakers, charity or mission presentations, a Talent Show, Children’s Program, and the legendary Folk Dancing and Hymn Sing evening.

See the Activities page for more information!

Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body
you were called to peace. And be thankful.
Colossians 3:15

Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
